The Curiosity Path
Offers drop-off classes especially for homeschoolers that focus on science or art. Classes are $10 for the first child and then $8 for each sibling.

Julia is a fellow homeschool mom and offers art classes for homeschoolers out of her studio in Center Point. They are split in age levels. Classes are generally about $20 per student with all supplies included (also offers a special where after 4 classes your 5th is free).
KidsCreate Studio
Located on the NE side of Cedar Rapids, the KidsCreate Studio offers art classes to children for a fee.
DIY Kids Workshop @ Home Depot
Every month the Home Depot (located in Cedar Rapids) offers a kids DIY workshop. Projects vary and registration - but the class is free!
DIY Kids Workshop @ Lowe's
Every month both local Lowe's locations (one in NE Cedar Rapids and one in Coralville) offer a DIY kids workshop. Projects vary and registration via their website is required - but the class is free!
SteamOn
Offers summer camps, LEGO leagues, and fun weekly events for kids of all ages! Located in the Cedar Rapids area.
Iowa Ceramics Center & Glass Studio
Offers homeschool classes for ages 5+ and weekend workshops.
Eastern Iowa Arts Academy
Non-profit after school arts organization that offers classes for K-12 in art, music, drama, dance, and creative writing.
Indian Creek Nature Center
Located in Marion, the Nature Center offers classes, workshops, the maple syrup festival and other educational opportunities!
Wickiup Hill Learning Center
Located in Cedar Rapids near Toddville, Wickiup is a hidden treasure in Cedar Rapids! It has an amazingly fun and educational inside area for kids and outdoor learning area complete with mud kitchen. There are paths to explore and a bird viewing area. Definitely worth checking out!
